Contractors
We do not allow outside contractors in the yard to work on their own projects, or directly for our customers outside of our contracts. All the projects in this yard are managed and contracted by Gliedt's Boat Shop directly with our customers. Our relationships and communication directly with our customers, are how we provide the greatest opportunity for a succsessfull project, and how I run the facility.
Due to liability and insurace issues, and the way we prefer to run our business, we do not allow do-it-yourself customers in the facilities. Our goal is to provide professional services, at a fair price, in a well managed, clean and safe facility.
In additon to our full time crew on site, we have compiled a complementary group of specialty subcontractors, and suppliers that we do business with under our contracts, under our supervision as required on each project. These are a group of people and businesses that we work with on a reqular basis and whos work and ethics in business are equal to our own.
A large percentage of our work is handled in house with our full time crew, as a means to control our scheduling, price, and quality, however, if scheduling requires additonal labor, or a project dictates a special service or product, we believe we have a great group of complimentary businesses that share our outlook on the way we do busines and look out for our customers.
