Gliedt's Boat Shop
Welcome to our website, we update the site as our projects are completed and the facilities are expanded, so we encourage you to check in regularly. Our facility is located at the newly renovated Perry's Island and Marina on the Mokulomne River at the Hwy 12 bridge in the Sacramento Delta area. The new owners of the Island lease the Boatyard and Shop facilities to our company, where we handle repair, restoration and haulout services.
Our marine portfolio section is a series of photo slide shows that illustrate a cross section of the types of projects we are involved in. The section on the Delta Wooden Boat Show is related to our annual Fall boat show, that is held the last weekend of Septemmber, further details on this years show can be viewed there.
The Boat Yard and Shop are being developed into a full service facility that will be able to handle all maintenance and renovations projects on vessels up to 42'-0" in lenth.
It is our hope that we will be able to provide specialized services in each trade, with a strong emphisis in marine carpentry and wooden boat restoration work.
Our crew has now expanded with a group of talented craftsmen on site full time, that each specialize in either marine mechanics, carpentry, paint, varnish, or fiberglass projects. We have made a consious desicion to build the crew with people that have an interest in applying their craftsmanship to all of our projects large and small. We are constanly looking for new materials and methods of renovating and maintaing our customers boats, as to be more effecient in our work, and to provide the greatest level of quality possible, at a fair price.
